Prior to joining the Cornerstone Church family in 2014,  he served for more than five years as the pastor of the dynamic Queensboro Temple of Seventh-day Adventists in Queens Village, NY, Associate Director of Youth Ministries at the Northeastern Conference, St. Albans, NY for a period of eleven years,
Pastor of the Solid Rock Church in Far Rockaway, NY for five years; served the historic Hanson Place Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, NY, as its Associate Pastor with special emphasis on Youth Ministries;  and pastoral intern at the energizing Mount Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church, Queens Village, NY.

Pastor Morris’ services to the various churches have been one of tremendous success and appreciable growth. Wherever he serves his service has been with discernible distinction.  Pastor Morris has a passion for the youth. He always uncovers ways to mobilize and nurture the youth of his congregations into playing vital roles in the life of the church.

His leadership has been an energizer for them to assume a higher level of service that will conversely propel them into making appreciable strides in their spiritual experience.
In October 1997, he joined the Youth Ministries team at the Northeastern Conference as the Associate Youth Director. His responsibilities included giving leadership to: Pathfinder Ministry, Adventurer Ministry, Camp Victory Lake Summer Camp as Director, Junior Basketball League, the Soccer League and Bible Bowl Ministry.
Dr. Morris is a 1983 graduate of Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama with majors in Business Administration and Theology (BA); a 1990 graduate of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, on the campus of Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan (M.Div.); and a 1995 graduate of United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH (D.Min.).
Dr. Morris consistently stresses to the church in general, more specifically to the youth; the finest hour to make a grand mark for the cause of Jesus Christ is now! Now is the time to make known the reality of the saving power of Jesus Christ to a desperate, distressed and distracted world.
Dr. Morris is excited about the opportunity to serve this unique church and it is his aspiration to make Christ visible in his service for the Lord.
